Every week
I run day-to-day trading. Then I build the systems that support it.
I'm Edward Madziwa. I run day-to-day trading for a premium British countrywear brand: the weekly trade report, the seasonal buy, the monthly management accounts and payroll. Fed up with systems that didn't talk to each other, I built one that could see the whole business, over Shopify, accounting software and an inventory system. If your numbers arrive late, or do not agree with each other, that is the work I do.
I
Sounds familiar?
- The Monday report, rebuilt by hand because the numbers moved again.
- Shopify says forty. The accounts say thirty-two. Nobody agrees why.
- A cash forecast nobody trusts.

What the month looks like.
Every month
Management accounts and payroll.
Every season
The buy, planned and reforecast against actuals.
III
Two ways to hire me.
Reporting Review
£1,500 fixed
Send twelve months of P&L and balance sheet, a stock file, and read-only Shopify and accounting software access. Within ten working days you get a written report on where the numbers disagree, what to fix first, and whether a build is needed at all.
Build
Custom-priced. Get in touch for a quote.
The reporting and planning system itself, built over Shopify, your accounting software and your inventory system. The £1,500 Review comes off a Build within 60 days. Anything else is a day at £750.
IV
This month.
I take on a few clients at a time, in the evenings, around my day job. I work alongside your accountant, not instead of them. I do not do SEO, paid ads, bookkeeping or statutory accounts, and I will not take on a brand that competes with my employer.
In use
The weekly trade, budgeting and merchandise-planning reports the brand uses, built over Shopify, accounting software and an inventory system, for the retailer I work for.
I reconcile every report to the accounts and the stock file before it goes live. That is the standard, whether the report is for my employer or for you.
V
Free tools and paid templates.
Ten free calculators, from VAT to landed cost. Spreadsheet templates built from twenty years of month-ends, from £5. Use them as they are, or start with the Reporting Review.

Questions, answered.
What does Darikwa do?
I run day-to-day trading for a premium British countrywear brand, and I build the systems that support it. Darikwa is where I do the same for other businesses with stock, suppliers and numbers that do not agree.
Who is behind Darikwa?
Edward Madziwa. Dreams, then Tesco, then Wyevale Garden Centres. Nine years and counting running finance and operations at a premium British countrywear brand.
How does Darikwa use AI?
AI tooling now writes most of the code. I decide what gets built, I review it, and every report is reconciled to the accounts and the stock file before it goes live.
Is Darikwa taking on new work?
A few clients at a time, in the evenings, alongside my day job. Tell me what's broken and I'll say honestly whether I can help.
